The Siddha Yoga path is one of inner transformation, based on the study and implementation of the timeless teachings  of the Siddha Yoga Gurus, and enlivened by the grace of Gurumayi Chidvilasananda, head of the Siddha Yoga lineage.


The Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Houston is open to people of all ages who wish to learn about and engage in the Siddha Yoga practices.  Rooted in the wisdom of India’s ancient sages, Siddha Yoga welcomes people of all faiths and cultures, teaching that divinity lies within each human being.

Evening Satsang Program

Satsang literally means "in the company of the Truth." On the Siddha Yoga path, Truth refers to the highest Reality, the supreme Self. Satsang also refers to seekers coming together to engage in the spiritual practices of meditation, chanting, study of the Guru's teachings, darshan and dakshina.

Sri Guru Gita Recitation

Sri Guru Gita (Song of the Guru) is a sacred text describing the Guru-disciple relationship, the nature of the Guru, the importance of devotion and service, and the role the Guru plays in leading the disciple to Self-realization. The full text of the chant (transliteration with English translation) is in The Nectar of Chanting.

Introductory Satsang to Siddha Yoga Meditation®

Meditation is one of the core spiritual practices on the Siddha Yoga path. Meditation brings out the joyful and positive qualities of the mind. Siddha Yoga Meditation also puts us in touch with the very core of who we are.


This event, especially designed for those new to meditation, will introduce you to the practice of Siddha Yoga meditation. You will be guided through each aspect of Siddha Yoga meditation, including posture, breath, and mantra. After the event, there will be an opportunity to speak with experienced meditators if you have any questions.


Whether you are learning about meditation for the first time or you have an existing practice, this introductory event will help you establish or strengthen your regular meditation practice. 


We encourage you to invite any of your friends, family members, and colleagues who would be interested in exploring the benefits of Siddha Yoga Meditation®.

Divine Protection

The Siddha Yoga Meditation Sessions are a great gift to our practice of meditation. Taught by Siddha Yoga Swamis and Meditation Teachers, each one deals with practical techniques for improving our relationship with the mind and our own meditation practice. This is an excellent course for anyone, as it meets each of us at our own level. 


You must register at the Siddha Yoga path website in order to register for the entire 9 part series or participate in any sessions multiple times.

Center Location

The center is located in Houston's historic First Ward, at 1907 Sabine St, Suite 119, Houston TX 77007.

Parking is available by the main entrance to Sabine Street Studios on Silver St., or on the opposite side of the building on Sabine St. adjacent to the center space. You may also park in the Spring Street Studios parking lot.
