WELCOME

The Siddha Yoga path is one of inner transformation, based on the study and implementation of the timeless teachings  of the Siddha Yoga Gurus, and enlivened by the grace of Gurumayi Chidvilasananda, head of the Siddha Yoga lineage.

The Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Houston is open to people of all ages who wish to learn about and engage in the Siddha Yoga practices.  Rooted in the wisdom of India’s ancient sages, Siddha Yoga welcomes people of all faiths and cultures, teaching that divinity lies within each human being.

We invite you to explore the Siddha Yoga path website where you will find much more information on the teachings and practices of Siddha Yoga.

Supporting our community during the coronavirus outbreak

Dear Houston Siddha Yoga Community Ensuring the health and well-being of all Siddha Yogis throughout the world is of prime importance during the many challenges resulting from COVID-19 (coronavirus) .

After considering recommendations by national and local health departments, governments and epidemiologists, the SYDA Foundation Management, with the approval of the Board of Trustees, requests that all Siddha Yoga Ashrams, meditation centers and chanting and meditation groups around the world temporarily suspend all satsangs, public programs and in-person meetings until further notice. This includes all Siddha Yoga retreats and other day-long and special events.

During this time, we can support each other and continue to move forward in our practices and study by visiting the Siddha Yoga path website, engaging with the study tools available on the website, and coming together via video/phone conferencing for Siddha Yoga Sadhana Circles.

The SYDA Foundation will continue monitoring the recommendations of governments and health experts in order to determine when it would be prudent to resume satsangs and other Siddha Yoga teaching events in Siddha Yoga Ashrams, meditation centers and chanting and meditation groups.

Thank you for abiding by this decision from the SYDA Foundation Management.

May everyone continue to be safe and well!

Love and Blessings,

The Houston Center Steering Committee:
